The Glory – A Poem

Here is a tribute to the heroes who sacrifice their today for the betterment of our tomorrow.

Bare Chests and open eyes against formidable power
Out under the dark sky, the pensive mood has lifted everyone

The solitude and melancholy are togetherly shared
The loss is unitedly grieved
The fist is opened ruthlessly cutting all fingers

We have not lost our son
We have lost the soil he was made of
We grieve not at his departure
We relish the end he met

We cherish the cause he gave us
We love the surge he put into
We will no more fall
We will no longer budge

The advent of martyrdom
The glory of blood
The triumph of nation
The conquest by martyrs
